Sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life’s true delights.

While I don’t have tea, Uncle Iroh is correct.

As of this writing, I have interviewed 59 streamers.
My goal is 100.

It’s been an amazing yet challenging experience.

Having a conversation with strangers from the internet in front of x-amount of viewers isn’t easy. That’s why most podcasts don’t last more than 3 months. You really need to love this work.

I’ve spoken to people all around the world from all walks of life.

I mentally and emotionally met them where they are and tried to understand their story. That’s it.

Per month, I host anywhere between 6 to 8 Inside the Streamer Studio shows.

I have a running list of over 45 content creators recommended by other streamers to be featured.

Again, they were recommended not invited.

Sadly some of those people I may never interview.
Searching for a guest isn’t easy.
I do my best to protect the standards of the show.

Here is a list of qualities I seek in my ideal interviewee:

  1. Do they stream regularly?
  2. Do they have a community?
  3. Do they have a story and can they share it?
  4. Can they give up control?
  5. Are they willing to be vulnerable?

This is something I’ve learned over the nine months of hosting the show.

I value time, both the guest and my own.

Hopefully, I can add another day of streaming into my schedule but that isn’t possible at the moment unless I make this my full-time job.

Until then keep your DMs open.
If the time comes, I’ll let you know.

[until we vibe again]
